The problem really is simple, WRT Mozilla: They feel like they can get away with it, so they are demanding it. They'll be fed, those of us who don't want to feed them will move to something different or unbranded, and the rest, well, they'll just continue 'cuz that's the way it is. I hope that doesn't happen too terribly much, though, or GNU/Linux systems will wind up losing what I think makes them so appealing today, that culture of freedom that permits us to share.

I get what they're doing, and I see how ti fits the model that there is there, but you know, the license doesn't have to be shoved in everyone's faces. We know where to find the licenses on our systems—for those of us who even care about the licenses to the software we use, that is. Who do they want to get their point across to? Certainly not the majority of ex-Windows users, they don't read the damn things anyway.

Eh, well, whatever. As far as an email client goes, I was using Evolution. It was too bloated for me; Thunderbird was too buggy for me (note, I have/had highly unusual use cases), which is why I stopped using it. Currently? Mutt. Does IMAP, does POP, does GnuPG, handles MIME beautifully... and saves me from looking at example pictures of what my spam can do for me! What more can a man ask for? :-)

> Mozilla is a business

It's not. Mozilla is an open-source project.
